Reasonable Suspicion Training for Supervisors course includes the physical, behavioral, speech and performance indicators of likely alcohol misuse or controlled substance use. This course will prepare supervisors for determining whether or not reasonable suspicion exists and what to do when they suspect it.  DOT regulated companies are required to have supervisors trained for reasonable suspicion determinations. 

A certificate of completion is always generated at the completion of the course.

The first chapter of the course provides a brief overview of the DOT and FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements as they pertain to supervisors.  Subsequent chapters provide specific training on signs and symptoms, prescription drugs, a confrontation process, information on the reasons for testing, situations that constitute refusal to test, a chart of drug and alcohol retention times in the body and a list of community help lines.  PDF files providing more detailed information on drugs and other pertinent topics are accessible with a mouse click.  A Certificate of Completion with the course and the individual’s name can be printed for training files.  Upon request an 85 page supplemental supervisor training manual is provided free with your order.
